Birthday/Gotcha Day Wrap-up

WOW!!! Thank you sooo much for all the Birthday/Gotcha Day wishes!! We had such a fun day:)

Our day started of with lunch at our favorite restaurant...QDOBA.

Mom surprised us and invited a very special guest....

It was sooooo happy that my BPF/Life Partner came to celebrate with us:)

Hello Friends!!!

OMG!!! Sorry it has been soooooo long since we have updated the blog:( This is Heather aka Mom updating the blog today.

Since it is Mother's Day, I thought I would take the chance to share how proud I am of Pugsley!!

I took Pugsley Indiana Working Dogs for his Canine Good Citizen evaluation.

Pugsley passed with flying colors!!!

They were also doing Therapy Dogs International evaluations at the same time.

I had not intended on putting Pugsley through the testing for the TDI, but the lady doing the testing said he was doing so well that we should see if he could pass.
He passed the TDI evaluation with flying colors too!!!

I was soooooo proud of Pugsley!!! He did a PUGTASTIC job. There were 7 dogs testing yesterday. Pugsley and 2 other dogs were the only ones to pass.

This is a picture of Pugsley and I with Greg (Owner of Indiana Working Dogs) and Bonnie Krupa (Evaluator).

We have a usual routine in the morning after mom lets us outside to potty. She gives us a chewie stick and we run upstairs to her bed to chew on it. I(Pugsley)always finish mine pretty quick and Lola is a slowpoke at finishing hers. So....I sit and stare at Lola in hopes that I can steal it from her.

Hi friends!!!

Thank you sooo much for the food advice!!! We knew we could trust our fellow bloggers for some good advice.

Since tomorrow is a BIG food day, mom wanted us to update you on our food investigation.

Mom have decided to keep us on the same food. WE LOVE our Solid Gold Wee Bits!!!
We did some volunteer work for Kentuckiana Pug rescue a few weeks ago. Mom was able to get some answers she was looking for from the vendors. She also found out that our food is sold at Petco and Pets Supply Plus, so that solves the issue of buying it at the vet.

I recently received a flyer in the mail for Royal Canin- Pug 25.

I have had no problems with the food I feed Pugsley & Lola, but I can only buy it at their vet. After reading through the flyer, this new food sounded like it might be worth a try.

I wanted to reach out to fellow Pug folk and see if anyone had started feed the Royal Canin- Pug formula or had any other advice on Royal Canin?

Charges: Indecent Consumption
Pugsley Feldman Wolfe has been charged with eating Heather Wolfe's earplugs. (Heather Wolfe is his Crazy Dog Mom)

Exhibit #1: Heather’s nightstand with earplugs.

Heather wears earplugs at night because her husband, Mark, snores like the pugs in the household:)

Exhibit #2: Marty on Heather’s nightstand eating the earplugs!!!

Exhibit #3: Heather Wolfe’s nightstand without earplugs.

On a few occasions, Heather has noticed that her earplugs are missing when she goes to bed.

Pugsley Feldman Wolfe was convicted of all charges of Indecent Consumption.

He was sentenced to 1 hour in his kennel.

Pugsley has also been denied the pleasure of eating earplugs!!!!!

Heather now keeps her earplugs in a container, so Pugsley can not eat them:)

Pugsley did eat some earplugs, but he is just fine. He did have a slight purple tent to his poop on a few occasions:) Sometimes I wonder if Pugs are not part goat!!!! They will eat ANYTHING!!!!!

This is my favorite one I bought!!! It is by a deaf artist Jerry Becker Steffen, JR.
I was able to meet him and show him pictures of Pugsley and Lola:)

The other two prints I bought are by David Hearn. I didn't get to meet David, but his work is amazing!!!

Well, now my next big job is to find a great place to hang all of my PUGTASTIC new pictures!!! Once I get them hung up, I will make sure to have Pugsley & Lola post pictures.

Hooray!!!! My 2nd birthday is SATURDAY!!! I plan on being a PARTY ANIMAL:)

Mom and dad already told me about one of my presents and it is the best one of all.
I am getting a sister:) We are officially adopting Lola Saturday!!! It is really cool that Lola's GOTCHA DAY and my BIRTHDAY DAY will be on the same day. There is no better gift than a sister:)

Last night Lola and I got a big surprise.

April, Cory, Landon and Garrett brought us a present for my birthday and Lola's Gotcha Day a few days early.

So much for being a "Nice Guy"!!! He started in on my other ear!!!

Wow!! It sure is rough being a Loofa Dog. I am Pugsley and Lola's favorite stuffie right now, so I guess I should be glad:) I am very happy to report that they have not ripped off my remaining ear!!!

A trip to the vet

Greetings Fellow Dog friends!!

Today was Lola's day to go to the vet and get a complete check-up. Mom took me along because I have been coughing and mom wanted to make sure I was OK.

Mom has be anxious to see what the vet had to say about Lola, since we didn't know much about her history. The vet told mom that she is right around 2 years old and is a very healthy girl. The only issue he said she had was her weight and that she needs to lose a few pounds. I guess we will be going on more walks:) We are very glad she got a clean bill of health!!!

As for me, I have a cough and will have to take some medicine for a few days. I don't mind the medicine too much, because mom puts it in a piece of hot dog:) YUMMY!!

Memorial Day Wrap Up:)

Hope you all had a PUGTASTIC Memorial Day!!! Our weekend was super fun:) We went to The Pug Posse's house Saturday night for an awesome cookout. The best part was that we got to introduce Lola to all of our friends!!! She did an AWESOME job and fit right in. I would show you pictures, but mom DIDN'T take any pictures!!!!! WHATEVER!!!!!!!

On Monday, April, Cory, Landon and Garrett (Mom's sister and her family) came over to meet Lola.

Lola spent some time getting to know April.

I had to keep an eye on Garrett:)

Garrett decided that my kennel was a fun place to play!!!

Mom didn't even have to give him a treat to get in there!!! He got in there on his own:) CRAZY KID!!!

I would like to introduce you to LOLA:) Mom and dad went and rescued her from the Greenfield Animal Control this morning. We are her foster family, but we can adopt her if she fits into our family.

I'm a SLACKER!!!

Hi friends:)

I am sorry mom and I have been SLACKERS and haven't been blogging for a few weeks!!
Life has been pretty boring around my house, but here are a few highlights.

We are still trying to find me a sister.

This is Bella and she is a Bugg. She came over to visit us and see if she would be a good sister for me. She is a VERY sweet girl, but just wasn't right for our family. You will be glad to know that she found a great forever home not long after me meet her!!!

I got to go to Pug Meetup on the first Saturday of May. I love to go to meet up and see all of my friends:)

Mom and brother spent their Saturday at the Indy Family Pet Fair.

They volunteered to help out in the Kentuckiana Pug Rescue booth. Their goal was to get donations and to give people information about pug adoptions.

Last night I helped mom bake "COOKIES" to take to Indy Pug Meetup today. Brother's birthday is Thursday and he wanted to take treats for everyone:)

True Colours Thursday- SCARLET

Dinner guest and Wonderful news!!

It has been a lazy and uneventful week around my house this week. Mom and Justin are home this week for Spring Break, but dad only had Monday off. Last night we had our friends Jeff, Debbie, Bailey and Cody over for dinner.

We are having our home visit from Kentuckiana Pug Rescue tomorrow!!!
Mom and Dad want to adopt me a sister:) Once our home visit is done, we can finish the process to be approved to adopt. Mom says that even when we are approved, it still may be awhile before I get a sister. We want to take our time and find a good match for our family.

Wish us luck and I will keep everyone posted on how it goes!!

A hard day's work- Part 2

It is time for me to clock in to work with Eduardo.

Today I am working hard to promote Pendleton's local Dog store k.c. Paws!!

Mom calls Pendleton "Small Town USA" and it has lots of small stores that are really struggling. k.c. Paws is a very cool store that has LOTS of great dog and cat stuff. Mom and I like to go in a visit, so we thought we would make it our special project to promote the store on my blog:) After I finished working at the bank Saturday, mom, brother and I went to k.c. Paws to take some pictures to share of the store.

This is Nickie. She always greets us with a smile.

This is KC. She is up for adoption with Countryside Animal Rescue. k.c Paws partners with Countryside to find forever home for dogs and cats in need:) I sure hope KC finds a forever home soon!!

The "COOKIE" case is my favorite part of the store!!

Hello friends:)

I had an exciting Saturday that I can't wait to tell you all about:)

Mom had to work Saturday and she let me and brother go too!! We had a project to work on after work, but I will share that with you later this week:) So stay tuned for Part 2.

I had a had fun working at the bank.

I appointed myself Bank Manager for the day.

I helped Linda open the drive-up. Saturday was Linda's Birthday:)

I made sure Amanda got her window open too.

The second contest was the COSTUME contest.

I DO NOT LIKE WEARING MY COSTUME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I won 3rd place in the individual costume group. Can I take this off now!?!

Reggie the bulldog was dressed like a Pug:) He was sooo cute!!

My friend Lilo was a Hooters Girl. She was PUGALICIOUS!!

Sophie, Dixie and Harley got 1st place in the group category:)

The third contest was the KISSING contest. I was in it with Laura and mom was in it with Salinger.
